You get what you pay for
If you paid for the basic package that includes only five hours of shoot, then that’s what you are going to get. Don’t try to use your being a bride and get a free hour of the photoshoot. That’s just wickedly mean. If you paid for five hours, expect to get five hours of nonstop shoot. If you didn’t pay for a photo album or a same-day edit video, don’t expect those, too.
Using Instagram filters on our photos is offending
Why do you have to use filters on our photos when you post them on social media? They are created that way because artistically, that’s how they should look like. They should be naturally beautiful, too. Why put gradients and so many other filters on it?
We do not like copying Pinterest boards
If you want to copy a Pinterest board, why not just hire an amateur photographer who can duplicate the angles and the poses. You hired a professional Lakeland wedding photography team because you trust our judgment and our creative eye.
We love when you prohibit guests from bringing out their iPhones and iPads
Thank you, God, for couples who impose a gadget-free event. This means guests are not allowed to use their phones and tablets to take photos of the bride as she walks down the aisle. This makes it easier for us to take those photos and videos you love to revisit in the future.
You have to trust us
Trust us that we’re going to do our work to the best of our abilities. The results of wedding photography do not only benefit the couple but the Lakeland wedding photography team, too. Remember that if we do good, we know you’ll say glowing things about us on social media and if we don’t, we’ll never hear the end of it from you.
We cannot control everything
We are not God. We cannot control the weather. If it rains, it rains. If it does not, then good for all of us. We can adjust to the weather but we cannot certainly make the rain stop, so we hope you understand that things like this happen all the time. Choose the time and date of your wedding wisely.
We get exhausted too
If you see us sitting down, it’s not because we’re lazy or we don’t like to do our jobs. A wedding can be very exhausting. Any Lakeland wedding photography team will tell you that. Running after the bride and the groom and the whole entourage is tiresome, so we need to catch out breaths sometimes.
