What Should Be Included In Your Lakeland Wedding Videography Package?

by | May 9, 2019

Isn’t it nice to have the money to hire a Lakeland wedding videography? But having the money to afford a videography team does not mean you should not ask for concessions, discounts, and even freebies.

Any bride knows that a little negotiation will go a long way toward getting extra items for the package that she and her hubby-to-be availed.

Remember that most of these items should be included if you availed of the full package. If you paid for the service-only package, you might just be getting a few of these if you negotiate well enough.

Otherwise, you can always get a blown-up photo of your wedding day printed by a third-party supplier or you can learn how to use Adobe and edit the video clips yourself.

Save-the-date or prenup shoot

Most packages include a free prenup shoot for one to two hours. The output of this shoot will usually be the materials you will use for your save-the-date photos and videos. The shoot usually happens about four months before the wedding date.

That gives you enough time to choose the photos you want and have these printed on your wedding invitations. As for the save-the-date video, that can be posted on Facebook and act as your invitation in some cases.

A DVD or USB copy of wedding highlights

A videography team will provide you all the necessary files and that includes copies of the full wedding highlights. This is different from the same-day-edit video that will be shown during the wedding reception. The highlights should include clips of your vows, your preparation, your first dance, the arrival of your guests, etc.

Raw copy of the whole wedding

Would you want to watch five hours worth of wedding video? Yes, right? When you are still on a wedding high, five hours of seeing yourself and your husband and your guests are nothing short of magical.

There will be moments in the future when you simply want to relive your wedding. A raw and unedited copy of your wedding video will be the best reminder of how fun the day was.

Albums and blow-up photo with frame

These are usually included in full video packages. If you availed of the most basic package, you might be able to wrangle one blow-up photo from your supplier.

But as for the album, that would have to wait. You can have the album printed and laid out by a separate wedding supplier. That’s usually a cheaper option compared to paying the actual videography team to do that.

When it comes to package inclusions from the Lakeland wedding videography company, it’s all about negotiation. If you have the knack for negotiating well, you’ll be surprised at how accommodating a wedding supplier can be.
